Six work 16-11-2021

The relationship between melody and lyrics, lyrics tell the actual story, the melody is what catches your ear first and can also convey emotions. So, for that work I decded to create a music piece that was related with mitology and indigenous textile. Jose Marti was a poet that taked about the similarity between the Mexican and Greek cultures. My piece thalk about a friend story it is a meet between the butterfly (celestial, divinity) and a minotaur(terrenal and strong), you can feel the nostalgic and sentimental moment.

As media for throught that I used a light circuit, that allow recognize the movement of the lights, in fact, you can see like a collage the intersection of the music, lights and poety story. Stickers apper when the lights are reflected, and the iconc symbols represent the two worlds. Finally, in the images you can see the set up of the textile item from Puebla,
